HAVE YOU BEEN TO CONDOR CAFE?

Condor Cafe was one of the first Fairspots we visited while on a round-the-world trip. The food served there (vegetarian) was excellent and comforting, we really liked the western touch on local favorites. The ambiance in the cafe was very relaxed and a great place to meet fellow travellers and local guides. The Condor Trekkers tour agency is located in the same space, so you can peruse the tour offers while enjoying a meal/drink. We unfortunately did not have the chance to join a tour with them, but the feedback we heard was very positive. Before visit Condor Trekkers/Cafe we had done a 4-day tour of the salt flats near Uyuni and during this trip we had talked a lot with our guide. He explained how many local guides only received a very small fraction of the profits earned from the tours and many organisations were abusive. This lead us to conduct more in-depth reaserch about tour operators thereafter. We were very happy to come across Condor Trekkers/Cafe which is a not-for-profit and supports local communities. written on : 06/2017
